More About Me
White Lotus is me, Summer Starr. I was born and raised in Whatcom County, but have recently returned to my home after more than 13 years away from this beautiful part of the world. I lived in Seattle and California for a while, but the last 4 years called Mumbai, India home. I have a BA and Master's degree in international development and non-profit management. For many years my focus was helping individuals grow their businesses in developing countries like Kenya, Ghana and India. I also spent time helping non-profit organizations establish new programs, systems, processes in order to grow their impact.
I'm now taking my administrative experience and my love for organizing numbers back to my newly re-discovered home.

Why "White Lotus"?
The White Lotus is an inspiration for me in my "other" job as a student of the healing arts. To me, it represents the growth of something of beauty and truth even if it has to rise up from muddy waters. Finances can often be the muddy waters for any small business, so it is my goal to help you find the beauty and truth that lies within those piles of receipts and lines of ledger entries.
